Research and Monitoring

The Forest Health Research and Monitoring programs in FRAP support scientific studies that provide critical information and tools to forest landowners, resource agencies, fire management organizations and policy makers across California on a variety of topics related to forest health and management. Research and monitoring projects are important to improve our understanding the efficacy of vegetation management treatments and for providing scientific data to guide policies and adapt forest management.

Webinars and Events

Forest Health Research Program webinars and events include presentations of research led by the Fire and Resource Assessment Program and their collaborators, as well as California Climate Investments funded research grants awarded through the Forest Health Research Program.
